Is it me or what….but this music is just so superior to the rubbish of today !

One of rocks most overlooked bands.
These guys are true artist, thank you for posting this rare video clip.

All right, awesome! Always felt if there was a promo made for this song a studio performance was the way to go. Then have something dramatic after the second chorus (with blurred transition effect). So here it is, needs nothing more! Thank you very much for posting this.

    Muchas gracias por subirlo.

How easily things slip from good, to bad, to unbearable… …so true.

  6. MrJacMac1986 says:

Is Eric using the same piano that Rick Wright used in the studio segment of the film Pompeii when he was playing Us And Them?

  7. codern says:

probably the coolest song of all time, however i dont think they pulled it off so cleanly and perfectly in one take.

  8. nikosf says:

    apparently the single version edit

the lp version is almost 5 mins long
    anyway a great find…..
keep our fingers crossed hoping for more…
perhaps the ”time” recording session… vid

I like Lenny Zakatek’s state of the art digital watch complete with calculator buttons.

@Doommaster1994 Fairlight CMI. Type it in Google pictures and you’ll find out it is the upper keyboard from that system. ;-)

  11. Doommaster1994 says:

Anybody know what keyboard Eric’s playing?

  12. urbania70 says:

@Loopzeloop Yes the album was recorded in Paris, but the video was filmed in Abbey Rd. This means a playback, but shows the Project in his home studio… couldn’t be better.

  13. jaypiko says:

Needs to have the volume turned up as well — the shorter clip has crisper audio!

  14. jaypiko says:

Put the right tags on this video so you guys can get the hits you deserve on this amazing video!!! 331 views — this is truly a disgrace to such a huge hit!~!!

I remember mentioning that I had seen this on the Roadkill APP List back in the mid 1990s and nobody believed that it existed. Phew at least I wasn’t going crackers! I think I also saw one for Mammagamma.

  16. APPfanChannel says:

Also interesting that the video was recorded in Abbey Road, though the album was recorded in Paris. Hence a playback (although well done), but it shows the Project in its natural environment: the magic of the famous Abbey Road Studios, where (after Alan worked with Beatles and Pink Floyd) APP recorded the most of their albums.

  17. APPfanChannel says:

A real gem, also since revealed from archives only in recent years. Great to see now the complete version.

wooooow-wooooooo….the studio version (full) we were waiting for. The demo version was fantastic too for all of us. I have a child, 3 yrs old watching, probably, one of the best version of APP. He can realize that Lenny is singing, Eric is playing keyb, Ian making solo, David Paton, Stuart (perfect) and he loves this song. it would be great if in the future you should share “Nothing left to loose” stud. vers.. I’d like to see the fantastic solo guit. (one of the best ever done). Thanx

  19. APPfanChannel says:

The one and only videoclip showing the Project in their natural environment, the studio.
And it shows that one of the tricks under the Project trademark was a tight band with great fun and humour!

  20. knightrats says:

Fantastic to see the full video version of this great song!!! Thank you very much. xxx

  21. Loopzeloop says:

    Definitely, thank you !
Sooo much frustrated we had just one piece of the whole stuff before, that’s so great to see (almost) everyone in studio (Acousti Studio, in St Germain-des-Prés in Paris),
so, once more, thank youuu ! :)

  22. AceGallagher says:

What a great vid! I love to see everyone having so much fun recording this song, you can tell in the finished product! I love Eric’s viking hat :D And Ian makes that guitar solo look so easy!

@alluran The link isn’t down, if you paste it in a notepad file you’ll see that there are errors that you need to compensate for, in this case you’ll get a dash before the last digit which you need to remove even though it won’t appear in the address bar of your browser: GEhUHz278T-0 –> GEhUHz278T0

You’ll find the list there on the end credits of the video.

  41. alluran says:

@minotarr That link is down, which mods were you using?

By the way, the guy’s surname, Yıldız, means STAR in Turkish. The man is born to do great things…
