Question: What do you think about Turkish people in America?
I heard the men are very good people and definitely not liars. They will try to help you by their best if they can. Wonder is that true? Please explain.

Answer by Sahara
I worked with a Turkish woman on a organic chemistry assignment. She was nice and I liked her but she didn’t seem to like America. She wanted to go back to Turkey. We were taking the class at a community college so I can’t blame her because I hated taking classes there. Too many students were really too silly, lazy, and whiny for me.

Question: Turkish people, which are your feelings about the Tatar people and Tatarstan?
I feel like a brotherhood with Turks, because we (Turks and Tatars) are both Turkic and sunni muslims peoples (similar languages, roots, ancestors, religion)
but, the problem are the Turks who feel closer with Europeans or Arabs, or the Tatars who considere theirselves “Russians”
I wish Tatarstan get its independence of Russia, and Turkey and Tatarstan create big bonds of friendship
the Europeans, Russians and Arabs are not our friends
Turkic peoples are friends
Answer:

I think you don’t understand the concept of friendship at all.
Turks who have European or Arab friends are a problem? I don’t think so,i think people who want to make brotherhoods based on religion and ethnicity are much more of a problem.

Question: What do we ,Turkish people, think about organ donation?
I am a donor and I notice that it is not a common practice in Turkey..What is holding us back from donation, in your opinion?
What can we do to emphasize the importance of organ donation?
The most important question is; do we think we or beloved ones will never be in need of an organ transplant in the future?
Answer:
Answer by Blunt I-run
I have donated them during university, and had it marked on my driving licence.
I can safely say that the main reason for lower rate of donation is instinctive fear. I did the donation with a logical mindset, but when I think about it, I still feel weird. And newspaper reports about how somebody came alive just when they were taking his organs don’t help either.
We should read more news about how donation saves lives. Just look at how people react. When WE need an organ, we don’t care about the religious rules or our fear, we just take the organ. But when it is time for giving, we stall. Positive news could change that to some extent.
Question: What do Koreans think about Turkey and Turkish people?
I heard Koreans like Turks. Is it true? Furthermore I read a lot of comments that Koreans are racist and don’t want to speak English. I want to go Korea because of that i’m afraid how they treat to me, especially if i don’t know their language without a few sentences. So being Turkish can affect their behaviors against me?
Thanks
Answer:
Answer by Sandy K
um well as far as i know they don’t have anything against Turkish people and typically the “racist” and the “ones who don’t want to speak English” are generally the older generations. All the newer generations of Koreans aren’t like that

Question: How do Turkish people feel about the violence between Uighur Turks & Han Chinese in China’s Xinjiang province?
I’ve seen some pictures of Uighurs in Turkey protesting the violence, but what do ethnic Turks in Turkey think of the situation?
Are they pro-Uighur?
Answer:
Answer by anlarm
Naturally they are pro-Uygur. The problem here is not how Turkish people feel about it, but how the western world is reacting to the situation.
We all know that China is now USA’s most favored nation in trade. Therefore, Obama administration does not want to criticize China. EU on the other hand, is too busy with its petty internal problems and with inventing new daily obstacles for Turkey’s EU accession. They don’t care much how many Uygurs are murdered by the Chinese party dictatorship. Such is the western hypocrisy. However, if an American, or German, or Frenchman gets hurt in China, they will start protesting.
Question: Why do Turkish people give rude and sarcastic answers to questions about Armenian people?
I asked them some questions about Armenian people, and almost every answer was an insult.
Here was one answer I just could not believe.
“Do you think that an Armenian’life worths more than Africans and Indians’s lives?”
Excuse me, but where in any question did I say I was Armenian? I did not.
