Question: Are Turkish people considered European or Middle Eastern ?
I have some questions and I would appreciate if you answered them.
Can Turkish people be called European? what about people from northwestern Turkey (European Turkey) are they considered European?
Which of these terms is more used at describing Turkish people: Middle Eastern, or European ? I know Turkish people describe themselves as Turks which from what I understood is the correct term. but I’d like to know which of those two terms is more used outside of Turkey.

Middle eastern. Most Euros don’t want them in the EU, which is a good indicator. I don’t want them in the EU either, there are already too many of them in European countries, and I can only see more flooding in if they automatically are granted EU citizenship.

Question: ARE turkish people consider as European or Arab?
i keep searching about turkish tradition but i couldn’t find any answer for my question. if turkish people consider as european how come their religion is different from most of the europen religion. and thier tradition as well… i feel they consider as arab according to their religion”ISLAM” and also their tradition sort of close to the arab tradition. but im not sure.. so can any one answer me, and give some evidence.

Turks ARE NOT european. They are from ASIA MINOR. Less than 6% of their country is in europe and that is only due to the OTTOMAN INVASION. They do not have a european origin. The original turks came from Central Asia with their ultimate origins lying in mongolia, they are related to the Mongols. They still speak a Turkic ASIAN language. They are non white people who own tiny amounts of land in europe. They are not european at all, not even close. For some reason they have been forcing themselves on us so they can escape the mayhem of the middle east. They border iraq, syria, and other middle eastern nations, they are in asia or ASIA MINOR

Turkey is in the Middle East and it borders Greece, Ukraine, Russia and Georgia on one side and Iraq and Iran on the other side.
I’m Turkish and I look more middle eastern myself. I have black hair and brown eyes and so does my mom but a lot of people think my dad is white for some reason lol. He has gray eyes/brown hair but this is pretty common in Turkey. Actually 30% of turkish people have light eyes (mostly green and gray) and 50% have light brown or even blonde hair.

arabs dont consider them middle eastern. Europeans dont consider them europeans
You are simply turks
